Silver Birch and Ivy

In 2021, Jackie painted this silver birch with ivy winding upwards around its pale trunk. Returning to it now, the birch has matured and the ivy has grown to cover much of its form. The tree and its companion plant continue their slow, shared journey, a reminder that the woodland is never truly still.
