Hidden Architecture

The exposed roots of a fallen tree radiate outward in an explosive star-like form revealing the hidden architecture that lies beneath the ground. What once anchored and sustained the tree becomes its most compelling visual presence, creating a dynamic composition of radiating forms, fractured spaces and richly textured surfaces. The painting celebrates the beauty of what is ordinarily hidden, revealing the intricate structures that support life.

Access is difficult in high summer due to the height of the bracken. Please access via the slope to the southeast. Do not venture onto the golf club, as flying balls can be dangerous.
